take a look at the dashboard, collectall items you can find. Try taking the flashlight and batteries.
now combine the flashlight with batteries to produce light.
use the flashlight to see the dark side under the bottom left side
get the red bug scarab, legend says scarabs show a way to a great treasure
be sure to collect all 15 of them to unlock the secret room

there’s a numeric code behind the scarab, remember it well ! let’s look at the glove compartment and enter the code : 2988
take the spare key and use it to start the car
put the key into the ignition

the car is working now, let’s drive to the dig site
